MIKE MOORE
President

As President of Certus Resource Group, Mike shares his energy insight with customers across the globe. Mike holds a degree in business administration.  His expertise ranges from procurement and risk management strategies to energy conservation solutions and mobile power alternatives. Due to his wealth of experience, Mike is able to develop common-sense energy solutions that fit each customer’s unique environment, are easy to implement, and realistic to maintain. He serves as an advocate for Certus customers, making sure their interests are protected amid the competitive, volatile energy markets. Mike heads the Certus team, which has nearly 100 years combined experience as consultants, contractors, and engineers.

 

JOHN HAY
Vice President, Demand Services

John is a graduate from the business administration program from Trinity University and the industrial management program with an emphasis on engineering from Purdue University. His experience includes projects for public housing agencies, government, education, and hospitals, as well as commercial and industrial facilities across the country. He has provided supply side solutions for clients in conjunction with their demand side management and performance contract projects.  John is a published author and recognized trainer in the fields of energy conservation and facilities management and operations.  Over his career John has served as Co-chairman BOMA-Kansas City Education Committee.  In this role he was a course facilitator and instructor for RPA, FMA, and SMT/A courses using BOMI materials and personal experiences and served as an examinations proctor for all BOMI exams.

 

JIM MULLOY
Vice President, Program Development

Jim holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration. Jim has developed and implemented energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in twenty states with a value exceeding $500M. These projects included markets such as: K12, higher education, healthcare, commercial, and federal agencies such as GSA, BIA and DOD. Jim is certified by the Association of Energy Engineers: CEM, CRM, CBCP, CSCP, CLEP, CIAQP and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He has co-authored energy efficiency legislation in multiple states and authored the Sustainable Energy Plan for the City of Scottsdale which has become a model for other cities. Jim served a 3-year term on the City of Scottsdale’s Environmental Quality Advisory Board and chaired the City’s Energy Advisory Committee during this period.
